A Festive Celebration of Kindness
Walsall, 19/12/25 — Bluuprint CIC, through its Sharing Table initiative, hosted its 5th annual Caring Christmas event on Friday, 19 December 2025, at Lucy’s Pantry. Over the past five years, the event has supported hundreds of local residents, bringing the community together to share food, gifts, and festive cheer.

A Celebration of Community
The Caring Christmas event has become a much-loved annual tradition. This year’s event saw an incredible collective effort, resulting in:
120 Christmas gifts were distributed to children
100 food parcels given to households
100 toiletries bags provided
75 hot Christmas dinners
A festive raffle, including a £25 gift card and other prizes donated by whg
Children’s activities, creating a joyful and welcoming atmosphere
Powered by Partnership and Generosity
In the lead-up to the event, a community-wide food and gift drive mobilised donations from whg, Manor Farm Association, St Michael’s Church Walsall, TSB Bank Walsall, and other generous supporters.

On the day, volunteers and staff from whg, Capita, Rosetinted Financial Services, Walsall Council, alongside Lucy’s Pantry volunteers and community members, contributed their time and energy to make the event possible.

Lisa Lucy, Founder of Bluuprint CIC, said:
“Caring Christmas started five years ago with a simple intention — to show people that they are seen, valued, and not alone, especially at Christmas. To see how this has grown year on year, and how many people come together to make it happen, is incredibly moving. This event is a reflection of what’s possible when community leads with compassion.”

Nicola Waite, WHG, added:
“Christmas arrived early in Walsall for so many people at the Bluuprint Caring Christmas event, from elderly familiar faces to lone parents and families. The event gave those that need it the chance to come together, feel cared for, and access much-needed essentials like fresh food, hygiene packs, and gifts. At WHG, we work hard to reach those often missed by other services and events, and we were proud to support the event with donations and volunteering. I already can’t wait for next year’s event.”
Bluuprint CIC is grateful to all who made the event possible, with special recognition for Gemma Ince and Chris Ince, who prepared all 75 meals, and to the organisations that donated gifts, food, and raffle prizes.
